Core Required Attributes

Every product in your Google Shopping feed must include these attributes or it will be disapproved.

id — Unique identifier for the product. Max 50 characters. Must not change once set.

title — Product name. Max 150 characters. Include brand, model, color, and size where relevant.

description — Product description. Max 5,000 characters. Plain text, no HTML.

link — URL of the product landing page. Must return a 200 status.

image_link — URL of the main product image. Must return 200. Min 100x100px.

price — Price with currency. Example: 29.99 USD. Must match the page exactly.

availability — One of: in_stock, out_of_stock, preorder, backorder.

condition — One of: new, refurbished, used.

Strongly Recommended

brand — Required for all branded products.

gtin — Required for all products that have a barcode. Submit the UPC, EAN, or ISBN exactly.

google_product_category — Google taxonomy path or ID. More specific is better.

shipping — Include in feed for per-product control over shipping cost and speed.

Apparel Requirements

For clothing and shoes: color, size, gender, and age_group are required.

Format Rules

Prices: always include currency (29.99 USD, not $29.99). Availability: lowercase underscore-separated. URLs: live and returning 200.
